The Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC) at Manbhum Mahavidyalaya was established on 3 March 2009.
Manbhum Mahavidyalaya is an undergraduate college established on 22 July 1986 and it is recognized under sections 2(f) & 12(b) of the UGC Act, 1956. It is one of the pioneer educational institutes in the southern part of the Purulia District, West Bengal, India. The college is situated 53 km. south-east to the district capital also named Purulia and 330 km. west to the state capital Kolkata (erstwhile Calcutta). Its objective is to inculcate value-based and principled education among the young population in a vast stretch of area. Nurturing students by an assemblage of experienced, knowledge packed and energetic teachers is the strongest and the most valuable resource of Manbhum Mahavidyalaya.
